COPYWRITING
I began in working in marketing with DEMDACO, an artist-driven gifting company based out of Leawood, Kansas. While there, I produced written content for retail signage, consumer marketing mailers, e-mail campaigns, web landing pages, packaging sentiments and wholesale catalogs.
Following the expiration of that contract, I was hired by AMC Theatres as their primary film marketing copywriter. I promoted movies in consumer-facing emails, mobile notifications, and web pages in addition to writing blog posts, social media captions, and creative food/beverage names. I also participated in presentations to major studios like Disney, Universal, Sony, and Warner Brothers. I proudly helped the AMC Stubs team concept the 2023 brand update and special promotions.

PROMOTIONAL FILM CONTENT
My primary responsibilities at AMC Theatres Support Center in Leawood, Kansas was creating compellingly themed copy to entice audience attendance via the AMC Stubs rewards program, concession collectibles, sweepstakes, merchandise and more.
SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTIONS
I aided in writing social media captions as well as in-image copy to introduce film promotions and special programs. I also had the honor of writing a short script for Dan Aykroyd!

HOLISTIC FILM PROMOTIONAL PAGES
In response to 2023's writer's guild and SAG strikes, our team focus shifted to hone in on blockbuster films and generating awareness around our special offers. I contributed copy for every promotion, headline, beverage title, combo name, and image.

In 2022 and 2023, I aided the loyalty team in brainstorms, copy ideas, page build ideas, design review, and more. I collaborated with two art directors and a creative director to meet company objectives for expanding membership.

WHOLESALE CATALOGS
These clips are introductions, stories behind the inspiration for products and special call-outs for features. DEMDACO produces separate catalogs for Baby, Everyday, Fashion, Destinations and Holiday product categories.

One of my first DEMDACO projects was writing the messaging for a landing page and product descriptions to contribute to a national television campaign for the signature plush Giving Bear. This product was featured in Today, HomeWorld, Gourmet Insider and more!
E-MAIL CAMPAIGNS
Another early project of mine was working with the web and marketing team to contribute content for both consumer and business e-mails. DEMDACO was in a transition from exclusively wholesaling to creating their own consumer retail experience, now a store located in Kansas City, Kansas where you'll see my copy on signage throughout!
